New Version Now Native Mach-O Application for Mac OS X and Adds Support for BIAS' New SoundSoap Audio Restoration Plug-In
Anaheim, CA • January 15, 2003 • NAMM Convention Booth #6525 • BIAS Inc. has already begun shipping Peak 3.2, a new version of the award-winning digital audio editing application. This update adds support BIAS' new SoundSoap noise reduction plug-in. Based upon the recently released Peak 3, Peak 3.2 is still native for Mac OS X and fully compatible with Apple's latest OS upgrade — Mac OS X v10.2 Jaguar and the OS 10.2.3 update. Peak 3.2 is even faster on OS X now, as it is a native Mach-O application. A version of Peak 3.2 for Mac OS 8.6 — 9.x is also available. The update is available free of charge for owners of Peak 3 as a download from the BIAS web site.

Support for BIAS' New SoundSoap
Peak 3.2 supports BIAS' new audio restoration product SoundSoap as a Mach-O VST Plug-in. SoundSoap and Peak 3.2 make a great team, since so many professionals already use Peak for audio restoration projects.
SoundSoap, which began shipping on Dec. 16th of 2002, is the first professional-quality noise reduction solution that's also easy enough for average consumers to use effectively. By adjusting just two knobs, anyone can reduce unwanted hiss, room noise, rumble, electrical hum, and other background noise from almost any digital media file — including digital video (DV) soundtracks, digital audio workstation tracks, cassette or other analog tape recordings that have been transferred to a computer, and other sources.
Peak 3.2 is also fully compatible with Apple's Mac OS X v10.2 Jaguar and the most recent Mac OS 10.2.3 update which addresses several issues with audio on OS X including reliability with USB audio device playback and recording.

Upgrades to Peak 3.2 are free of charge to owners of Peak 3 as a download from the BIAS web site.
