AUDIO INDUSTRY VETERAN LARRY THE O JOINS BIAS AS PRODUCT MANAGER
AES Convention • Booth 726 • New York, NY • October 5th, 2007 • BIAS, Inc. has announced that audio industry veteran Larry the O has joined the company in the position of Product Manager. In his new role, the O will spearhead specification of new products and new versions of existing products, as well as coordinate the development process itself. He brings a user's perspective to these tasks, built from his years of engineering, producing, sound design, editing, and mixing for music, live sound, film, television, and video games.
The O brings to the job decades of experience on numerous sides of the audio industry. While most of his career has been spent in audio production, he has also established a reputation as one of the industry's leading writers and observers, with hundreds of articles in print since 1984 and a combined total of more than 16 years as a Contributing Editor to Mix and Electronic Musician magazines. His monthly column on the back page of Electronic Musician, "Final Mix," was a highlight of the magazine for more than eight years.
The O's résumé also features professional experience working for leading manufacturers, including Lexicon and Meyer Sound, in recording studios, and for top video game producers LucasArts Entertainment and Electronic Arts. The O received formal education in both music and technology, and was named a Distinguished Alumnus by Berklee College of Music in 1998.

The move comes just in time for the 123rd Audio Engineering Society convention in New York, where the O is eagerly anticipating joining the rest of the BIAS staff at booth 726 in greeting convention attendees.
