A/B/C/D "Snapshots"

Use up to four temporary memory "snapshots" for quickly comparing different settings.

Spectrograph Controls

Set parameters for the built-in spectrograph, which is superimposed over the EQ/Threshold display.

Gain Compensation

When active, this control automatically compensates for any level changes introduced by Sqweez-3/5 and sets the output gain to match the input gain. This is particularly useful as changes in loudness can be misinterpreted as improved equalization.

Soft Clip

Acts as a soft limiter to ensure that the output level does not clip due to gain differences introduced by an EQ or compression setting.

Digital Ceiling

Sets the maximum allowable level in decibels that the Soft Clip control will use.

EQ/Threshold Graph Display

Shows a variety of compression data for each band in graphical format, and also allows settings to be made directly in it. The Graph display may be viewed in three modes — EQ, Threshold, or Both (which displays EQ & Threshold data simultaneously).

Gain Slider

Controls output gain, and allows the output signal level to be adjusted to compensate for level changes accordingly.

Filter Crossovers

Appear in the display as vertical lines, and are used to adjust the width of each compression band (and edit the crossover frequency between it and its neighboring bands).

Compression Controls

Allow compression settings to be made for individual bands. Controls available include Threshold, Gain, Ratio, Maximum Reduction, Attack, Release, Knee, Bypass, and Solo.

Group Controls

Allow changing a compression settings globally, that affects all bands simultaneously.

Input Meters

These high-resolution meters display the level of the audio signal being fed into Sqweez.

Output Meters

These high-precision meters show the output level of an audio signal after it has been processed.
