Technology sets Peak apart

Bounce Playlist You've worked hard to get to this point — recorded, mixed, and labored for hours. If you're not creating masters with Peak, you might want to start. Peak features BIAS' proprietary, industry-leading software-based sample rate conversion technology. Naturally, Peak also uses industry-standard POWr™ dithering to preserve quality when converting from 32- or 24-bit files down to 16-bit format needed for audio CDs. So your masters sound better — a lot better.

More than just CDs

DDP Peak doesn't just burn the best sounding 100% Red Book compliant audio CDs — it creates masters. With an optional Disc Description Protocol (DDP) Export extension, Peak allows creation of masters in this secure and modern format. Many major labels now require masters to be submitted in this format, so why pay someone else to create them? Other popular output features include the ability to export Peak Playlists as Jam Image files, and also as text for creating custom PQ sheets to go along with your master in any format.

Put the pieces together

Put the Pieces together While Peak's Playlist is great for creating masters, it has another side too. It's the perfect tool for assembling voiceover takes, podcasts, loops, or any other pieces of audio. Custom crossfades produce smooth and natural sounding blends between regions, which can then be output as a single, polished file. Playlist output formats include AIFF and SDII, with markers to delineate component regions. From there, Peak can encode podcasts as mp3 or AAC, or produce practically any other file format.
