I get an "Out of Memory" error when launching Peak
This means one of two things may have occurred, either you have used Apple's Migration Assistant to move your Operating System to a new computer or you had some work done on your computer and a piece of the system hardware has changed.
When using Apple's Migration Assistant to move your files to a new computer, your BIAS software license(s) will be moved as well. When your logic board and/or hard drive is replaced when the computer is serviced, this will cause that computer to appear as new since the components are different.
BIAS software licenses are computer specific, a license from a different computer will not work on the new computer.
Since the existing license is not valid, you will need to delete it before you are able to authorize Peak on that computer. The licenses are located at:
Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/BIAS/Licenses
Make sure that you have the latest version of your BIAS software:BIAS Technical Support
