Playback problems when iSight is connected

Affected machines: Mac computers that do not have a built-in audio input. This includes certain desktop PowerMac G4 models

Issue: If you have a mac that does not have a built-in audio input and have no other audio input devices other than an iSight connected, audio in Peak will play back with distortion.

Workarounds: Disconnecting the iSight, or connecting a second audio interface to your computer and selecting that device as your input in Peak resolves the issue.
